CBS is ready to say goodbye to its long-running crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, giving it a proper send off (not afforded many series coming to an end) with a two-hour movie to air Sunday, September 27.
While the end may be a sad idea for long-time fans, the finale promises to wrap things up properly by bringing back more than ten familiar faces. So who will be returning? The biggest news is that William L. Petersen and Marg Helgenberger will be returning. Long-time regular George Eads opted not to return to say goodbye, although his character’s storyline was wrapped in the Season 15 finale in February. Laurence Fishburn is also not returning.
But, returning cast members now officially confirmed are:
- Paul Guilfoyle as Captain Jim Brass
- Jorja Fox as Sara Sidle
- Jon Wellner as Henry Andrews
- Wallace Langham as David Hodges
- Ted Danson as D.B. Russell
- David Berman as David Phillips
- Robert David Hall as Dr. Al Robbins
- Eric Szmanda as Greg Sanders
- Elisabeth Harnois as Morgan Brody
