It was just a few weeks ago I was at WonderCon 2018 in Anaheim.
Smack dab in the middle of the convention on Day #2, it was time to capitalize on one of the exclusives I won through the lottery system, a Ready Player One cast meet and greet. Only 75 fortunate attendees won the privilege and I was one of them. So exclusive was the event, we were informed there would be no photography, recording or autographing of any items other than what was provided, a full color poster from the film.
In attendance were stars Tye Sheridan (Parzival), Olivia Cooke (Art3mis), Ben Mendelsohn (Sorrento, also Orson Krennic in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Philip Zhao (Sho), Lena Waithe (Aech), Win Morisaki (Daito), screenwriter Zak Penn and Ready Player One author Ernest Cline, each happy to chat with us for a few moments as we made our way down the line while we shook their hands and as they applied their John Hancocks to the poster.
As a bonus, Hotchka is throwing in RP1 WonderCon 2018 swag bag just for the heck of it to sweeten the giveaway! Coveted!
