New Line Cinema

We’re coming up on the end of the year rush to get films into theaters to beat Academy Awards deadlines, so the studios are throwing out some of their biggest guns in the latter part of the past century. Not all the films are ‘Oscar bait’ but there are a few, some that went on to score nominations and wins, and some that did not live up to very high expectations (you can always tell an Oscar hopeful when someone known for comedy suddenly takes a dramatic turn).
