Hotchka Movies by the Decade feature #162 :: August 30 to September 5

One Race Films

This week kicks off September, and that means a lot of movies in the first half of the century with unknown release dates so we will include them here. That means we don’t have time to include much trivia, but we will try to add more after the initial publication. At quick glance this week, we’ve got two films starring Red Skelton in two different decades, the second movie to star Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, two 1973 films starring Jim Brown released one day apart, Bill Paxton’s third credited screen role, a movie full of former child stars, and the third chapter of a sci-fi franchise. Read on to see the films released this week and tell us if any of your favorites are celebrating!
