The 2017 Tony Award Winners

Evan Agostini / Invision / AP

The 2017 Tony Awards were handed out on June 11 honoring veteran performers and newcomers alike in a raucous ceremony that included host Kevin Spacey impersonating Johnny Carson and Bill Clinton, while also bringing Francis Underwood (and his wife Claire) on stage for the final award of the night. The show featured performances from the Best Musical nominees and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes performed at the ceremony for the first time in thirteen years. And Bette Midler stole the show when she refused to stop talking while the orchestra attempted to play her off. Favorites won, favorites lost, but Lin-Manuel Miranda said, “If you’ve made it this far, you’re already a winner.” Congratulation to Dear Evan Hansen on its six awards and bravo to all the 2017 Tony Awards winners!
