Broadway’s wedding-themed musical It Shoulda Been You, starring Lisa Howard, Tyne Daly, Harriet Harris, Sierra Boggess and David Burtka, will be closing on August 9. Despite a showstopping appearance by Howard on this year’s Tony Awards, the show failed to earn a single nomination. Directed by David Hyde-Pierce, the show began previews on March 17 and officially opened on April 14. It will have played 31 previews and 135 regular performances when it closes.
